Former Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada Chairman Michael Crome Gives Back with World Marathon Challenge
Former chairman and board member of Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, Michael Crome, will participate in the World Marathon Challenge – an extensive seven-marathon run, spanning seven continents in seven days – with a goal of raising $25,000 for the organization. The marathon will begin in Antarctica on Monday, Jan. 28.

Having served on the board of Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada for over ten years, Crome holds the organization close to his heart. Not only has Crome served on the board, he also participated in Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada’s programs as a young student. He is dedicated to raising the funds and giving back to the organization that has played such a significant role in his life.

Crome stated, “For me, it made a lot of sense to choose this charity. I wanted to find a way to raise money for the organization that had such an impact on me as a kid. It’s a great way to bring attention and awareness to Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, and really get people to understand what the organization does for the community and why I’m so passionate about it.”

The marathon is an extreme physical challenge to run the standard distance of 26.2 miles, which will take place in Antarctica, Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and North America within 168 hours, or seven days.
