Frank L. Stile Foundation Commemorates Serving 1 Million Meals to Children
The Frank L. Stile Foundation (FLS) hosted its first annual Holiday Giving Gala Winter Carnival on Dec. 2. (Pictured: Dr. Frank Stile (r) donates check to Feeding America).
Attendees included community members, clients, families and local nonprofit organizations including children from St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, The Shade Tree and Three Square.
In celebration of 5 years of successful giving, the FLS Foundation Holiday Giving Gala Winter Carnival commemorated 1 million meals served.
The FLS Foundation donated 500,000 meals to Feeding America, monies and toys to ThreeSquare, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, and The Shade Tree Foundation. Feeding America, a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding the hungry throughout the U.S.
Event festivities included hot cocoa, drinks, food, an outdoor carnival featuring a train, sleigh rides, DJ, bouncehouse, facepainting, Clark County Fire Department, stilt walkers, jugglers, unicyclist, balloon animals, a visit with Santa and an early gift from Santa’s elves.
