Free Burgers During the 2012 Mavericks Invitational Surf Contest
Islands Restaurants invites everyone to celebrate the 2012 Mavericks Invitational Surf Contest with Free Mavericks Burgers at all of its 53 locations! With no set time or date, the Mavericks Surf Contest happens when the conditions are perfect off the coast of Half Moon Bay. Mavericks is expected to break any time between now and March 31 and as soon as it does, Islands will announce that the competition “is on” at the Islands Facebook page.
When the Mavericks waves break, known to crest as high as 60 feet, fans are encouraged to show an image of the outrageous waves via their smart phone or printed off image in order to redeem a free Mavericks Burger at the restaurant. Made with a tangy BBQ sauce, signature Islands Reds (crispy onion strings), American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo, the Mavericks Burger is served with a side of their famous fresh-cut fries.
***If the Mavericks Invitational doesn’t happen, Islands will announce via Facebook when the free Mavericks burger will be given away after March 31.
Receive $5 Islands Gift Card by Sharing Favorite Point Break Photo
In honor of its Point Break Burger made with gruyere, bleu cheese, caramelized bacon and onion relish, Islands Restaurant is offering fans the chance to receive a $5 Point Break virtual bonus card! From March 8 through April 2, fans are encouraged to visit Islands Facebook Page or website to upload a picture of their favorite Point Break. Once fans upload their photo, they will be automatically sent a $10 Point Break virtual bonus card via email to use on their next visit to Islands (within two weeks).
$10 Burger & Beer During NCAA Basketball Playoff and Championship Game
During the NCAA Basketball Playoff Games and the Final Championship game, fans can order any burger and pair it with any hand crafted beer – for only $10 in the bar! The NCAA Basketball Tournament $10 Burger & Beer Promotion will be available March 17-18, 24-25, 31 and April 2.
