About Rao’s Caesars Palace
Rao’s first opened its doors as a local saloon and 10-table restaurant in East Harlem, New York, in 1896. After receiving three stars in 1977 by former New York Times dining critic, Mimi Sheridan, the restaurant exploded in national popularity and was recently named as the toughest reservation to land in the United States by Bon Appetit magazine. In 2006 Rao’s opened its second outpost at Caesars Palace and made an immediate impact on the Las Vegas culinary scene and is now recognized as one of the city’s top dining experiences.
