Giordano’s Boca Park Hosts Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting on Pi Day
On Wednesday, March 14, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, private luncheon and cheese pull competition were held at Giordano’s Boca Park, the latest Las Vegas location of the iconic Chicago restaurant. First, CEO Yorgo Koutsogiorgas and Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman shared remarks and cut a ceremonial red ribbon to mark the grand opening of Giordano’s Boca Park. The Mayor presented a certificate to commemorate the opening.

During the celebration, guests enjoyed Giordano’s classic stuffed deep-dish pizza along with other signature Giordano’s dishes such as “The Best” Tomato Bruschetta with fresh diced tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, olive oil and balsamic glaze on crispy garlic toast; Calamari & More! with tender calamari, green beans, lemon rings, banana peppers and shaved fennel served with house-made marinara sauce; and the Chopped Salad with lettuce, bruschetta tomatoes, chicken breast, bacon, scallions, red cabbage, pasta, peas and blue cheese tossed in honey mustard dressing.

Following lunch, guests watched an interactive cheese pull competition hosted by KTNV The Morning Blend’s JJ Snyder. Three competitors battled to try and lift their pizza slice the highest. Media judges included Vegas Magazine’s Emmy Kasten. The winner, Scott Fujinaga, took home a Giordano’s Cheese Pull Trophy and a $100 gift card.
