The New Year brings with it the much anticipated annual Girl Scouts Cookie Sale!  Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada announces the annual cookie sale begins January 29. 

Orders can be placed on all eight varieties of delicious Girl Scout Cookies starting January 29. These once-a-year treats will also be available at local retailers and financial institutions throughout Southern Nevada from February 3 – February 27.

Cookies are $4.00 a box and can be ordered from your local Girl Scout or by visiting www.girlscoutsnv.org. Use our cookie locator at www.girlscoutsnv.org to find a booth near you!

Along with seven returning cookies, there is a new cookie this year. Shout Outs! are a light, crisp, Belgian-style caramelized cookie. The 2011 Cookie line-up: Caramel deLites, Thin Mints, Thanks – A – Lot, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Lemonades, Peanut Butter Patties, Shortbread, and our brand new cookie – Shout Outs!.

“The Girl Scout Cookie program is the largest girl-led business in the country”, says Patricia Miller, Chief Executive Officer, Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada. “Through the Girl Scout cookie sale, girls learn important financial literacy skills while earning money to pay for troop programs and community service projects.”
