Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada
will host its inaugural STEAM Career Conference at Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25. STEAM, which stands for “Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math,” is one of the four key pillars of Girl Scouts (Pictured: Girl Scout Speaking with Female Professional)

“From science to the arts, we have some tremendous female business leaders in Las Vegas,” said Linda Bridges, Chief of Communications of Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada. “This event gives young women in the community the opportunity to learn more about how they may pursue careers in various fields, as well as to pull inspiration to break into fields that are currently underrepresented by women.”
