Glowzone Las Vegas Partners with Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada to Host “Adult Night” Fundraiser on May 10
Glow-in-the-dark challenge arena, Glowzone Las Vegas, will partner with Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada (Candlelighters) to host an “Adult Night” fundraiser to benefit the nonprofit on Friday, May 10 from 8 p.m. to midnight.

“So many children in our community are diagnosed with cancer each year,” said Amy Forrester, general manager of Glowzone Las Vegas. “As a truly family-friendly facility, we are proud to partner with Candlelighters and give back to a nonprofit that supports so many kids and families in Vegas.”

Guests will enjoy four hours of unlimited attractions and all that Glowzone has to offer, including a miniature golf course, an arcade, bumper cars and mini bowling lanes. Beyond their signature classics, Glowzone offers truly unique experiences such as bazooka ball, a “Mission Impossible” like laser maze, a ninja course and a 20-foot suspended ropes course. Guests will also enjoy cocktails and drinks from a cash bar.

“It is our dream that, one day, there will no longer be a need for our services in the community,” said Matt Cook, Candlelighters Chairperson of the Board. “We look forward to a time when no one in our community faces the devastation of childhood cancer; however, until that day arrives, Candlelighters will be here to support our families in their fight. And, we are so grateful to those in the community who join us in this effort by giving back and supporting events like Glowzone’s Adult Night so we can support these courageous children in their journeys.”

Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada was chartered in 1978 by two families, each of whom had a child being treated for cancer. With little to no resources to help them navigate a world of childhood cancer, they came together to create a network of support for families affected by the disease. Since that time, thousands of children in Nevada have been diagnosed with cancer. Candlelighters maintains a full-time office with professional staff focusing on three main areas of support: emotional, quality of life and financial assistance. Candlelighters serves approximately 125 families monthly and as many as 600 children (both siblings and diagnosed children) throughout the year.

This event is for guests 21 and over and must show valid ID at the time of entrance. This fundraiser is the second of the year as part of Glowzone’s corporate community relations program “Glowzone Gives” to partner with nonprofits and organizations in the city and give back to those in need.

Tickets are $30 pre-sale online at lv.glowzone.us and $40 at the door. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit the nonprofit.
