Grammy Museum’s Grammy Camp Partners with Best Buy to Present a Weekend Camp at Clark County Library
Taking place in Las Vegas on January 27 at the Clark County Library District, Best Buy GRAMMY Camp — Weekend is a nonresidential music industry experience that offers high school students an introduction to the music industry. Participants will learn elements of how the music business works and how they can begin to plan a successful career (Pictured: Laura Donohue – Photo credit: Tanya Braganti).
Professional participants at Best Buy GRAMMY Camp — Weekend Las Vegas include Laura Donohue, singer/songwriter, vocal coach, and voice over artist (vocal performance faculty member); Rick Schmunk, professor, music technology clinician, and professional musician (electronic music production faculty member); and Hadaya Turner, motion graphics designer and video editor (video production faculty member).
The camp is made possible by a grant from Best Buy to the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District Foundation.
Best Buy GRAMMY Camp — Weekend Las Vegas has accepted students in three music career tracks: Electronic Music Production, Video Production, and Vocal Performance.
For those interested in future GRAMMY Camp opportunities, The GRAMMY Museum also offers GRAMMY Camp — Summer, an immersive music industry summer experience for high school students.
