Grimaldi’s Pizzeria Bakes Up a Sweet Deal for National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend

February 7 kicks off National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend and Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is bringing back its sweet deal to support leadership programs for girls in Southern Nevada. The popular Girl Scout Thin Mint Cheesecake makes a comeback along with a new Caramel deLites Cheesecake, and will be available at all southern Nevada Grimaldi’s locations while supplies last (Pictured: National Girl Scout Cookie sales). 

The chocolate mint cheesecake is made with pieces of thin mint cookie, a thin mint crust and topped with whipped cream. The Caramel deLites Cheesecake will be a caramel cheesecake topped with caramel glaze and toasted coconut, on top of a Caramel deLites cookie crust and finished with a chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. These special cheesecakes sell for $5 a slice. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada.

National Girl Scout Cookie Day marks the start of the Girl Scout Cookie Sale. Grimaldi’s Pizzeria Boca Park location will be the exclusive spot to purchase cookies throughout the weekend. Girls will be on-site Friday, February 7 from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, February 8 from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 9 from noon to 6 p.m. In addition, girls will be in front of retail locations throughout the valley February 14 to March 10.

“Buying Girl Scout cookies is more than just handing over money for a box. Girls are gaining important financial literacy skills,” said Liz Ortenburger, Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada CEO. “We encourage buyers to connect with a #CookieBoss – go ahead – ask questions about their expected sales, what is budgeted for the money earned and customer service tips – it’s all about our girls gaining the experience to run a business.”

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria has five locations in Las Vegas and one in Sparks, Nev. Las Vegas locations include The Shoppes at The Palazzo, Rainbow and 215, Boca Park Fashion Village The Fashion Show Mall and Richmar Plaza.
