Hamptons Adds New Dishes and Refreshing Cocktails for its Spring / Summer Menu

Hamptons Restaurant, located inside Tivoli Village, has released four new menu items and modified a few others while also concocting five new cocktails for its Spring / Summer menu. Executive Chef Jay Bogsinske has been busy in the kitchen crafting his own twist on a familiar favorite, a tangy poke dish, a zesty grilled chicken pita sandwich, and a brunch classic, fried chicken and waffles.

  • Jay’s Twice Fried Chicken Wings

Executed in a style influenced by Korean cuisine, this sharable dish is served with twice-fried, five-spiced whole chicken wings using Mary’s Free Range Chicken. These crunchy wings are rounded out with a sweet garlic crema, cilantro lime salt, diced green apple, chipotle gastrique, and a torn mint / cilantro leaf combo.

  • Yellowfin Tuna Poke

This sushi-grade ahi tuna is cut and marinated to order to maximize freshness and is served with an accompaniment of avocado, apple & napa cabbage slaw, soy sesame ponzu sauce, and chipotle lime crema. Complete the perfect bite with the cinnamon tortilla crisps that are delivered to be used as a reservoir for the combination.

  • Lemon Grilled Chicken Pita

Using a lemons that are cured for 100 days in-house, this healthy sandwich is a perfect dish to pick  for a quick bite or an excellent share with another over a glass of wine. Cooked with Mary’s Free Range Chicken breast on the grill and served with grilled asparagus, arugula, english cucumber, tomato, and house-pickled vegetables.

  • Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Waffles

Sweet, savory, and a little bit of a spicy kick of buttered hot sauce is all brunch goers will need to start out their weekends. Classic buttermilk waffles are served with a crispy, Pitman Family Farms’ chicken breast to go nicely with a round of bottomless mimosas or bloody marys until 3 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

“By following the seasonalities and using the highest quality proteins, we can keep true to our core values of delivering the best of modern American restaurant creations in our ways,” said Executive Chef Jay Bogsinske. “The twice fried chicken wings have been an absolute hit for me in restaurants, like Nine 05 in Phoenix, AZ, and I know our regulars at Tivoli Village will find them just as delightful to enjoy. When tested the Ahi Poke as a tuna taco and found it worked best when served as more of a dipping-style dish, while the grilled chicken pita and chicken & waffles were kitchen creations that received great reviews when we featured them.”

Chef Jay continued to note that the new cocktails will complement the dishes as the patio-weather continues to approach.

  • Bird of Paradise

An island vacation is just a few sips away with this charming cocktail. Served with Malibu Coconut Rum, Peach Schnapps, pineapple, pomegranate syrup, and toasted coconut.

  • The Empress

The classic gin and tonic has been elevated to provide new visual and tasteful experiences. Made with Empress 1908 all-natural, color-changing gin, Fever Tree tonic, rosemary syrup, sliced cucumber, and blueberries.

  • Hemingway

While Ernest Hemingway may have coined delicious daiquiris in the Hamptons of New York, he was an utmost fan of whiskey cocktails and would have most certainly approved of this citrus blend of Templeton rye,  honey, yellow chartreuse, and Angostura bitters.  It’s simple, delicious, and very easy on the palette.

  • Blueberry Mojito Kombucha

Joining the kombucha family of offerings, Bacardi Superior Rum has found a new companion, blueberry flavored GTS Kombucha. The mixture of fresh mint, blueberries, lime, and simple syrup will serve perfectly with a day full of sun shine and nice breezes.
