Henderson Hosts Free Financial Planning Day Saturday, October 19
Henderson residents will have the opportunity to receive free financial planning advice and guidance from professional financial planners at the Henderson Financial Planning Day. Residents can register for the free event at FinancialPlanningDays.org.
Financial experts from the Financial Planning Association and highly qualified Certified Financial Planners will meet with residents one-on-one to discuss important financial issues. The advice is on a “no strings attached” basis and planners will not sell financial services or products. The event includes a series of educational workshops addressing a variety of personal financial topics.
The city of Henderson, in partnership with such national non-profit organizations as the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Financial Planning Association, Foundation for Financial Planning and U.S. Conference of Mayors, organized the Henderson Financial Planning Day.

WHY: The event is part of the national Financial Planning Days initiative. The ground-breaking program, which involves city governments and thousands of financial planners nationwide, provides free financial education and programming to people across the country.
