Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas Celebrates Time-Honored Tradition of Food Challenges with Over-The-Top Käsespätzle Dish
Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas
is taking its käsespätzle, a “spätz”-tacular German noodle dish, to the next level. The iconic Bavarian beer hall and restaurant has launched a four-and-a-half-pound version of the specialty dish, which is complimentary to patrons under one condition: the guest must finish the supersized version of the delectable dish on their own in less than one hour.

A German classic, käsespätzle features spätzle, a very special German noodle, cooked to perfection and served with melted Swiss cheese and grated crisp onions. The over-the-top version, available exclusively at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas, includes three pounds of spätzle smothered in one pound of melted Swiss cheese and peppered with a half a pound of crispy fried onions.

Participants, with no help from anyone else, will have one hour to attempt to devour the colossal dish. If not finished within the time limit, the courageous contender will have to whip out some cash to pay. If the family-style platter is consumed to completion, not only will the victor receive a free stein and a photo mention on social media, but they will also receive the monster plate of cheese-soaked noodles “on the Haus.”

Wash the plate down with a world-famous Hofbräu beer, imported directly from Munich, while cheering with friends and celebrating with bragging rights.

Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays until midnight. To make a reservation, please call 702.853.BEER (2337) or visit HofbrauhausLasVegas.com.
