Hogs & Heifers Saloon Hosts BikeFest 2008 Festivities

The popular downtown bar Hogs & Heifers Saloon will host the BikeFest 2008 Festivities and celebrate its third anniversary with live music, drink specials, door prizes and the world-famous Hogs & Heifers bartenders.

WHAT:
The eighth annual Las Vegas BikeFest is a four-day motorcycle and biker extravaganza featuring a custom bike show, poker walk, demo rides and more than 300 of the greatest manufacturers and distributors of motorcycles, parts, accessories and apparel. Beginning Oct. 2, prepare for a weekend full of live music, barbeques, bikes and of course…a little debauchery with the sassy, brassy and beautiful Hogs & Heifers bartenders as they kick up their heels and light the bar top on fire. As BikeFest’s official main stage, live music sponsor, Hogs & Heifers will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 a.m. Thursday through Sunday with no cover charge.

WHEN:
Wednesday, October 1 – Join the beautiful bartenders of Hogs & Heifers to celebrate the saloon’s third anniversary and kick-off BikeFest in style with rockabilly deluxe revue band Double-Wide. The doors will open to the public at 9 p.m. and Double-Wide will be rocking out on the Hogs & Heifers stage until midnight.

Thursday, October 2- Hogs & Heifers will host a BikeFest after-party beginning at 8 p.m. featuring the music of Moanin’ Blacksnakes.

Friday, October 3- From 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Hogs & Heifers is a favorite stop on the poker walk through downtown Las Vegas. Later in the day, motorcycle enthusiasts can enjoy the music of The Lucky Cheats at 3 p.m. and Southern Stue at 8 p.m.

Saturday, October 4- The live music starts at 3 p.m. with Rocky Tonk and continues into the night with The Ruffnecks taking the stage at 8 p.m.

Sunday, October 5- Hogs & Heifers will help wrap up BikeFest with its famous, “It Ain’t Over ’Til We Say So BBQ” starting at 2 p.m. Cash’d Out, the premier Johnny Cash tribute band and the only ones endorsed by the Carter Cash family, will provide live entertainment in addition to the delicious barbeque and drink specials being served up by the brazen girls at the bar.
