Homeaid Southern Nevada and NSA Host Fundraiser to Benefit Homeless Population
On March 8, 2019, HomeAid Southern Nevada (HASN) and Nevada Subcontractors Association (NSA) hosted the 6th annual Target Homelessness event. Every year this event gathers local businesses, mostly consisting of those within the construction and home building industry, to come out and have fun by participating in a clay shooting tournament, while also raising funds for a great cause.

Since establishing in 2014, HomeAid Southern Nevada has given $3.4 million back to the community through shelter build projects. They have built and renovated over 200,000 square feet throughout Southern Nevada. They’ve helped more than 3,800 homeless children and adults.

That number really shows how much the home building community is willing to give back to those in need, and events like Target Homelessness are essential to keeping our organization funded to do what we do best. Building shelters and facilities for the homeless population in our community is at the heart of what we do. Through SNHBA and HomeAid Southern Nevada’s strong connection to the industry, we’re able to complete shelter build projects with exceptional quality by builders and local trade professionals that are building Las Vegas every day. When we do any big shelter build project, we want to make sure the building work done is as in-kind as possible.
