In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts of the USA, March 12, 2012, the Bureau of Reclamation displayed the Girl Scout logo against a sea of green light on the Hoover Dam

Girl Scouts from surrounding states gathered on the Mike O’Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge to celebrate. At 7:12 p.m. (1912 military time), Girl Scouts sang happy birthday and then began the countdown to light the dam. The Hoover Dam will remain green through March 17, 2012.
