Hundreds of People Line Up for Free Turkeys During Cricket Thanksgiving Festival

In all, Cricket Wireless gave away turkeys to the first 250 families in attendance and the next 50 families received Thanksgiving meal trimmings such as stuffing, corn bread mix and cranberry sauce. The event was held on Tuesday, November 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the University Plaza store-1131 E. Tropicana at Maryland Parkway.

In celebration of the turkey giveaway, Cricket also turned its parking lot into a Thanksgiving festival with entertainment for the whole family including: a variety of fun interactive carnival games; bounce house activity, pony rides or complimentary food items such as popcorn and cotton candy.
