Insomniac and Life Is Beautiful Festival Announce the Debut of the Troubadour Stage
For the first time, Life is Beautiful has partnered with Insomniac for the three-day music and arts festival, taking over the vibrant landscape of Downtown Las Vegas, September 25 – 27.
In addition to helping create the atmosphere of art, cuisine, and insightful lectures the festival is known for, Insomniac has curated the lineup of the Troubadour Stage with performances from more than 20 incredible dance music acts.

The Troubadour Stage will be a massive 120-foot wide mega structure, specially designed by Insomniac for the Life is Beautiful Festival. Thousands of fans will gather to witness mind-blowing production and costumed theatrical performers who will accompany the amazing DJs at the Troubadour Stage.

In addition to bringing dance music’s favorite acts to the already impressive lineup, Insomniac will be accepting submissions from up and coming DJs for the opportunity to play a set at the Troubadour Stage through the Discovery Project competition. The Discovery Project was created in 2011 to give a voice to emerging artists by exposing them to audiences at Insomniac’s festivals, concerts and club shows. As previously announced, Life is Beautiful will be returning with its signature art program, bringing the city streets to life by showcasing the incredible murals of multiple national and international street artists. Notable creators lining the energetic streets of Downtown Las Vegas include 1010, Bordalo, Ruben Sanchez, Bikismo and many more. In true Insomniac fashion, EDC’s famous Wide Awake Art Car and boomBOX Art Car will return to Las Vegas to roam among the beautiful art displays of the festival grounds, creating an immersive experience for festivalgoers to enjoy as they travel from stage to stage.
Fans will also have the chance to experience Life is Beautiful’s nationally prestigious Learning Series featuring informative, inspirational and unique panels from a diverse selection of our generation’s leaders. This year, interactive discussions will be hosted by prominent voices such as CEO of Zappos, Tony Hsieh, television personality and scientist, Bill Nye, and model and transgender activist, Geena Rocero.
