Joey DeFrancesco officially emerged on the jazz scene in 1989 with the release of his first album on Columbia entitled “All Of Me.” Not only was this the introduction of a major new talent (at 17 years old), but it also resurrected the Hammond B-3 organ as a viable jazz medium. The Downbeats Readers Poll Award winner every year since 2002, brings his soulful Trio to the Smith Center.
