La Isla Uniforms to Sew on Girl Scout Uniform Badges Free Through Dec. 31
On Saturday, the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada earned their Yarn and Fabric Arts badge at Las Vegas Logos & Embroidery, part of La Isla Uniforms’ recent expansion.

Fernando Lara, of Las Vegas Logos & Embroidery provided the girls a tutorial of how a four-machine embroidery operates and created an official Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada patch. Las Vegas Logos & Embroidery seamstress Lizbeth Alvarez was on hand to conduct the girls through all stitching activities and sewed on badges and patches. Girls also learned about fabrics from around the world, famous fabric masterpieces and fabrics of the past. To kick off the event several girls fashioned some of uniforms, while the other girls guessed what professions they represented.

La Isla Uniforms is offering a special promotion to all Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada members where they will sew on uniform badges complimentary through December 31.
