Las Vegas Burger King Restaurants Set to Run Fundraising Campaign for Opportunity Village in September
For the second consecutive year, 43 Burger King restaurants in Southern Nevada will participate in a month-long fundraising campaign to support Opportunity Village, a local non-profit serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The campaign, which collectively raised $31,563 last year, runs through the month of September.

One hundred percent of all proceeds raised at the 43 Burger King locations, which are owned and operated by Glencoe Management, will support Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest — one of Southern Nevada’s renowned holiday traditions that features hundreds of dazzling trees and a wide variety of family-fun entertainment running November 23 to December 31.

“Glencoe Management is thrilled to be holding our second annual fundraising campaign to benefit Opportunity Village,” said Megan Keith, Director of Marketing of Glencoe Management. “Last year’s inaugural campaign surpassed our expectations; with our guests’ assistance we raised over $31,000 for Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest. We plan to beat that amount this year.”

Funds raised will be allocated back to Opportunity Village’s myriad programs and services that seek to enrich the lives of adults with disabilities and give each of them a sense of Pride, Purpose and a Paycheck.

“We can’t thank Burger King and Glencoe Management enough for their kind hearts and commitment to supporting adults with disabilities in Southern Nevada,” said Bob Brown, President and CEO of Opportunity Village. “Their generosity will touch many lives across our organization and also help spread the critical message of inclusion all around the Las Vegas Valley.”

During the September campaign, Burger King guests who donate $1 will receive a pair of coupons for a return visit: one for free French Fries or Onion Rings; the other, for one free, soft-serve ice cream.
