Las Vegas Business Academy Appoints Two New Board Members
The Las Vegas Business Academy (LVBA) is proud to announce the appointment of two members of its board of directors: TaChelle Lawson and Marco Benvenuti. Lawson and Benvenuti join nearly 40 of the city’s preeminent leaders in hospitality, law and business, each of whom have committed to passing on their wealth of knowledge to LVBA scholarship recipients seeking graduate degrees at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
“Las Vegas is full of bright, innovative and selfless business professionals, and we are excited to have wonderful mentors in TaChelle and Marco joining our board,” said Rino Armeni, LVBA founder and chairman of the board. “Our students will greatly benefit from their expertise and willingness to share the secrets of their success.”
Las Vegas Business Academy is a nonprofit organization committed to grooming future Las Vegas leaders by providing them with graduate school scholarships and both mentorship and externship opportunities with the city’s top entrepreneurs.
Founder and President of FIG Firm, a boutique brand strategy firm, TaChelle Lawson is a Las Vegas native and natural born foodie with over 15 years in marketing experience. She has been the mastermind behind developing brand strategies, PR & marketing campaigns and event management for catering companies, entertainment venues, restaurants and Chefs in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco New York and Washington, D.C.
Marco Benvenuti
Co-founder and chief marketing and strategy officer for Duetto, a revenue strategy technology company launched in 2012, Marco Benvenuti guides the product and brand vision for the company, which has more than 125 employees and now partners with more than 2,500 hotels and casinos in more than 60 countries.
