Las Vegas Monorail Extends Ticket Sales Hours at Sahara Station on New Year’s Eve
On New Year’s Eve, the Las Vegas Monorail will extend its customer service booth hours of operation at the Sahara Monorail Station to 11 p.m. for locals to buy their discounted Monorail tickets.
With thousands of revelers descending upon the Strip, the Las Vegas Monorail Company will continue to operate during New Year’s Eve even when the Strip closes to vehicles and buses – representing a safe and easy travel option for locals who want to party on the Strip.
To receive the local fare, Nevada residents must present valid Nevada ID at the Las Vegas Monorail Customer Service Booths located at the MGM Grand and Sahara Monorail stations. Locals can only purchase four one-ride tickets per valid Nevada ID.
Sahara Monorail Station Customer Service Booth hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. MGM Grand Customer Service Booth hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Even as the city’s famous firework displays light up the skies, the Las Vegas Monorail will continue to offer reliable, non-stop service until 3 a.m., with trains arriving at each station every few minutes. For more information, visit www.lvmonorail.com.
