Las Vegas Philharmonic Guild to Host Annual Fall Fundraising Gala

The Las Vegas Philharmonic Guild will host its fall fundraising gala, Desert Nocturne, to raise funds for the 10th anniversary season of he Las Vegas philharmonic. The gala will feature an evening of dinner and dancing at Green Valley Ranch resort on Sunday, November 9. The gala will include world-class cuisine, fine wines and spectacular entertainment by the Walt Boenig Big Band and vocalist Laura Taylor.

Desert Nocturne will begin at Green Valley Ranch resort’s Grand Events Center in the La Sirena Ballroom with a cocktail reception and silent auction at 6 p.m. The reception will feature the instrumental talents of students from Nevada School of the Arts followed by dinner and musical interludes at 7:30 p.m. A live auction will take place at 8:30 p.m. and the gala will conclude with an evening of dancing to the Walt Boenig Big Band, featuring the stylistic vocals of Laura Taylor. Desert Nocturne will raise money for the tenth anniversary of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and celebrate the sixth anniversary of the Philharmonic Guild.
