Le Cordon Bleu Hosts Gingerbread-Themed “One Bite” Competition
On Tuesday, Dec. 8, Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Las Vegas showcased the sugary, delectable masterpieces of students who participated in a festive One Bite competition featuring all things gingerbread (Pictured: LCB Gingerbread One Bite winner display).
Students spun their culinary wheels and created unique, mouthwatering and visually-appealing concepts featuring a gingerbread house, gingerbread people and 24 accompanying “one bites” for display and judging purposes. An exclusive judging panel evaluated the submissions and honored first place for the gingerbread structure category to the team including students Quanisha Scott, Keliann Kutasiensk and Miya Williams, who created the “Grinch Stole Christmas Whoville” display.
Other displays included a welcoming North Pole station display, which was honored as the winner for the “one bite” tasting category, a “tour around the world” with an “It’s a Small World” themed display, as well as a fairy dust inspired display, featuring the magical creature, Tinkerbell.
