Life Time Athletic Clubs to Combat Summer Boredom with Life Time Kids Academy Summer Camp
Life Time’s Las Vegas clubs, located in Summerlin and Green Valley, are now accepting registrations for its annual Kids Academy Summer Camp. The camp, open to members and nonmembers, alike, will feature fully supervised themed adventures, action-packed field trips and healthy activities all summer long.
Life Time Athletic Summerlin and Life Time Athletic Green Valley will offer their signature camps from Monday, June 12, through Friday, Aug. 11, for children ages 5 to 12 years old. Camps will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will be priced at $50 per day or $215 per week for members. Registration for non-members is priced at $240 per week. Parents will also have the flexibility of early drop-off at 7 a.m. for an additional $28 per week or $7 per day.
Life Time Group Crafts
Each week will feature a new and exciting theme, which will be incorporated into the week’s activities and interactive field trip. The camp kicks off with Wild West Wackiness week, with campers learning about desert animal habitats, creating DIY water wheels and starring in their own “wanted” posters. Kids can solve mysteries during Crazy Crime Lab week, cracking secret codes and making fingerprint art.
Other themes will include Time Warp, Superhero Sizzle, Making Waves and Science is Magical, among others. Each week, campers will also take part in supervised field trips to different locations throughout the valley, such as the Lied Science Museum, the Adventuredome at Circus Circus and Gravady, an indoor trampoline park.
Both Life Time clubs will also offer specialty camps that host activities based on age and interests. Campers will channel their inner ninja at Martial Arts Camp and practice their passing and kicking at this year’s exclusive three-day Soccer Camp. Pricing, dates and times of the specialty camps may vary by club.
Registration for Life Time Kids Academy Summer Camp can be completed at the Activity Centers inside Life Time Athletic Green Valley, located at 121 Carnegie Street in Henderson, and Life Time Athletic Summerlin, located at 10721 W. Charleston Blvd.
