The Neighborhood Builders grant will provide a financial boost to Goodwill’s Veteran Integration Program (VIP) – which provides coordinated job training and employment services tailored to veterans, and their families’, unique needs. Since its inception two years ago, Goodwill’s VIP has helped more than 500 local veterans and immediate family members find work and become self-supporting. The grant is projected to assist approximately 225 veterans and/or family members find work in Southern Nevada over a two-year period.
