Developed by Executive Chef Shawn Giordano, Lucky Foo’s lunch menu includes an array of signature dishes as well as new offerings created exclusively for lunchtime. Lunch items include salads, protein bowls, yakitori skewers and a large selection of sushi. Other selections include ramen with nori, bamboo shoots and shaved scallion; the Foo Burger made with USDA Choice house brisket and chuck, house pickles, kohso aioli, garlic, house cut potatoes and tangy ketchup; and specialty ‘crudo style’ sashimi, such as Hamachi made with avocado wasabi, yuzu cream, seabeans, parsnip chips and “awesome sauce.”

The menu also focuses on a lighter and healthier side with its freshly created “Greens,” ranging from the simple cucumber and seaweed salad made with crab and sesame seeds, to the kale Caesar salad loaded with grilled chicken or salmon on top of Asian pears, blue cheese, candied walnuts, grilled shallots and maple vinaigrette. Vegetarian options include the red quinoa bowl made with edamame hummus, grilled green onions, red peppers, tofu and mint; and the forbidden black rice bowl made with red onion jam, kobocha squash, avocado, haircot vert, cotija cheese, cilantro and Thai basil.

Fresh sushi selections include the burrito roll made with salmon or unagi, onion, pico de gallo and cilantro; and the shrimp tempura roll made with tempura shrimp, cucumber, avocado, pickled daikon and eel sauce. Guests also have the option to order sashimi with their own desired cut.

Lucky Foo’s Restaurant & Bar has introduced a distinctive dining experience to the Green Valley area as an “American Izakaya,” a Japanese term for a highly social setting where family and friends gather for food and cocktails. Located at 8955 S. Eastern Ave. at a high-traffic intersection of the I-215 Beltway, Lucky Foo’s serves a menu that combines Asian and Mediterranean flavors with American cuisine. Lucky Foo’s is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to very late. More information and reservations are available by calling 702.650.0669 or on the website at http://luckyfoos.com.
