Magician Mac King Performs at Dr. Miriam & Sheldon G. Adelson Educational Campus
Comedy-magician Mac King performed two special assemblies for the students at the Dr. Miriam & Sheldon G. Adelson Educational Campus on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 (Pictured above: Mac King, Amy Novak, Librarian, Stacy Colwell, Head of Lower & Middle School and Ilan Hendler, Principal for the Day).
King dedicates his personal time to showcase magic and discuss the importance of reading at various Las Vegas schools throughout the year. King shared with the students that he “checked-out” a magic book at his elementary school library, which later carved the career for the comedy-magician, now in his eleventh year as a headliner at Harrah’s.
Ilan Hendler, a second-grade student, was selected to be the Principal for the Day. Part of his duties for his role was to help announce Mac King from the stage. During one of the special shows, King donated an autographed copy of his latest book Mac King’s Campfire Magic to the school’s library.
