Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada Partners With UFC to Reveal Wishes to 15 Local Children
To mark World Wish Day 2019, Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada will partner with UFC to reveal to 15 local children their wishes are about to be granted. This giant wish reveal is the largest single wish reveal ever for the local organization, which is on track to grant 175 wishes this year. Wish children who learn about their wishes at this event will start receiving their respective wishes in the days following the reveal and throughout the summer.
The 15 wish kids will be recognized in a special ceremony before friends, family, and UFC employees at UFC’s headquarters on Monday, April 29. The kids will learn their wishes are coming true in a surprise reveal during the proceedings.
In addition to holding the event at its global corporate headquarters, UFC, a long-time Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada partner, will host a celebratory lunch inside its courtyard and provide the 15 children and their families with custom posters that were made for each child by UFC team members.
The 2019 theme for World Wish Day is ‘where there’s a wish, there’s a way.’ “Our generous partner, UFC, has once again stepped up to help us make dreams come true,” said Caroline Ciocca, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada. “Last year, UFC raised more than $250,000 to help us grant more wishes. We know our wish kids and families will be treated like royalty at this upcoming Record-Breaking Wish Reveal hosted and underwritten by UFC and its team members. This event and partnership is the perfect way to mark World Wish Day in Southern Nevada.”
