March to Support Nevadans with Disabilities at 7th Annual "Walk With Me" Presented by Easter Seals Nevada April 4
The 7th Annual Walk With Me event presented by Easter Seals Nevada to benefit Nevada residents living with disabilities returns on Saturday, April 4 to W. Wayne Bunker Family Park at 9 a.m.

The activity-packed morning will be hosted by Easter Seals Nevada’s celebrity spokesperson, grand marshal and Vegas entertainer Earl Turner. For registration and donations, please visit www.walkwithme.org/lasvegas.

W. Wayne Bunker Family Park is located at 7351 W. Alexander Road, located at Alexander Rd. and Tenaya Way.

Beginning at 9 a.m., Walk With Me kicks off with a bang when Earl Turner, backed by community leaders and ‘Honorary Ambassadors,’ leads the two-mile walk to raise awareness and funds for the 8,000 Nevada residents living with disabilities that Easter Seals Nevada assists each year. For the second year, Turner has invited his celebrity friends and notable Las Vegans to partake in the day and join the fun with ‘Walk With the Stars.’ Pre-walk activities including entertainment and speeches begin at 8:30 a.m.

The finale of Walk With Me leads to an Easter Carnival extravaganza at 10 a.m., where all funds raised go to further assist Nevada residents with disabilities. The Easter Carnival features games, entertainment, concessions, face painting and live performances, creating an unforgettable afternoon with family and friends while helping others. New for 2015, kids can enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo. Easter egg hunts will be held for kids, along with pictures with the Easter Bunny and other family-friendly activities. Adults can also join the fun with a special Easter egg hunt with fun prizes including show tickets, restaurant certificates and more.

Walk With Me is the cornerstone that builds and strengthens Easter Seals Nevada’s mission to support Nevadans in need of assistance, of every age,” said President and CEO of Easter Seals Nevada Brian Patchett. “This is a fun and festive morning to spend with loved ones that ensures the best quality of life is given to children and adults with disabilities and their families in Nevada.”

Register now to help Easter Seals Nevada get closer to their goals and provide service to those in need. All of the funds raised stay in Nevada and are used for its residents.
