Mercadito Brings “Sex Mex” Cuisine to Saturday and Sunday Brunch
Mercadito begins spicing up the weekend with new brunch service starting on Saturday, September 13. From 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., brunch-goers can enjoy popular brunch fare with Mercadito’s signature Mexican flair.
Mercadito recently opened at Red Rock Resort and within two short months, has quickly become Vegas’ hot-spot for casual Mexican dining.
Leading the brunch menu are a variety of Huevos including Huevos Ahogados – poached eggs, crispy corn bread and chipotle-hollandaise sauce and Tacos de Huevo – scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, black been hash, chile de arbol salsa, avocado and queso fresco. Mercadito fans can also delight in new items like Pan Mexicano (Mexican French Toast) and Carnitas Hash. New brunch cocktails include the Mercadito Bloody Mary, Guava Cava, Mango Mimosita and Blanca’s Punch. Mercadito’s brunch menu also features popular tacos, guacamoles and ceviches.
Menu items are available for individual purchase or brunch-goers can choose from two popular “cures.” The Hangover Cure allows guests to choose three items for the table and one cocktail per guest for $18 per person. For guests wanting to dive into the extensive cocktail list by beverage partner Tippling Bros., the Perfect Cure is available for $30 per customer and includes three menu items for the table and two-hour open cocktails including specialty brunch cocktails, house wine and beer.
Mercadito lunch service is 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Dinner and late-night dining begin at 4 p.m. until midnight Sunday – Thursday, 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Lunch hours are Monday – Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
