Morphy Auctions to host Coin-Op, Advertising and Arcade Auction May 1-3

Featuring some of the most highly sought-after antique coin-operated machines still in existence, the 1,500-lot strong coin-op, advertising and arcade auction being held at Morphy Auctions, Las Vegas May 1-3 is projected to be the highest-grossing auction ever held at the auction house (Pictured: 1907 five-cent Caille Peerless roulette floor console).

• 1907 five-cent Caille Peerless roulette floor console, expected to sell for $175,000-$250,000
• 1901 Caille Lion upright five-cent slot machine, estimated to net $40,000-$60,000
• 1902 Caille “Black Cat” musical cabinet upright slot machine, expected to sell for $30,000-$40,000
• 1938 Pace Royal Twin upright slot, featuring dual sets of reels for both quarters and nickels, potentially worth $18,000-$25,000
• 1938 Superior “Golf Balls” three-reel slot machine, expected to command $35,000-$50,000
• 1935 Superior horse racing console, estimated to sell for $35,000-$45,000
• 1912 five-cent Mills Novelty Co. double “Violano Virtuoso,” with self-playing piano and dual violins, worth an estimated $60,000-$80,000
• 1905 Edison Multiphone, billed as the “world’s first selective automatic juke box,” estimated to sell for more than $50,000
• 1937 World Series baseball arcade game, expected to garner $35,000-$50,000
