Motley Brews to Host Ninth Annual Great Vegas Festival of Beer April 5-6
Great Vegas Festival of Beer
will return to Downtown Las Vegas for two days on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6. Established in 2011, the festival produced by Motley Brews is expected to be the state’s largest craft beer festival for the ninth time, with more than 500 beers and 10,000 attendees anticipated throughout the weekend.

With a new venue at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, the festival will kick off with its Mad Craft Experience from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 5, where local brewers, mixologists, chefs and restaurateurs will enter into an epic craft beer and culinary competition. The Grand Tasting will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, with early entry starting at 2 p.m., offering a selection of over 500 beers from popular breweries, elevated culinary offerings from some of Las Vegas’ top chefs and a myriad of entertainment options.

“Great Vegas is known as one of the original events for locals in the Las Vegas community and we’re making our ninth year bigger and better than ever before,” said Brian Chapin, founder and CEO of Motley Brews. “We’ve partnered with an awesome new venue and have added more live music to continue building on static and interactive experiences to pair with the massive selection of craft beer. This event only comes once a year, and we’re going all out to continue growing the craft beer game in Las Vegas.”  Chapin demonstrated Las Vegas’ thirst for craft beer with the inaugural Great Vegas in 2011, which quickly sold out to more than 2,000 attendees. The event has grown from year to year, prompting an expansion to two days in 2017.
