Girls worked with industry professionals on energy conservation, planting tips, and built a mini planter for a window sill. Girls in grades 4-5 were working toward their Gardener badge. They planted herbs, and learned to how to water them properly, as well as tree pruning techniques.

Girls in grades 6-8 were working toward their Woodworker badge. They worked with NV Energy to build a house out of paper and used aluminum foil to learn how to keep a house insulated.
