Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway lights were officially turned on during the VIP event November 12 with the help of a heart child, Ava Davis from Children’s Heart Foundation, a past grant recipient of Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC), Human Nature and Lt. SCC receives a portion of each ticket purchased. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived in style on a Maverick Helicopter! Kiddos of all ages made leather stamped ornaments with Tandy Leather and enjoyed treats from B Sweet Candy Boutique, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Bad Ass Coffee.

Nevada’s largest holiday drive-thru light show spectacular, Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway celebrated the start of its 15th year with 15-year partner recognition to Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Shark Reef Aquarium, Sunny 106.5 and Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The spectacular holiday tradition in Southern Nevada will be open through January 3, 2016. The drive-thru light show features more than three million lights along a 2.5 -mile course that intertwines through the speedway.

New in 2015 is a tribute to Las Vegas nearly three football fields in length with iconic images including the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, a 50 foot tall kissing Mr. and Mrs. Claus, a loveable Yetti, a new tunnel of lights with animated lighting, 250,000 palm tree lights, a 200 foot candy tunnel, and an expanded Santa’s Safari among other things; as well as holiday favorites including the 12 Days of Christmas, a Hanukkah celebration and many other jolly scenes.
