Nevada Ballet Theatre and Discovery Children’s Museum present “All Things Nutcracker” Featuring Children’s Programming

Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) and Discovery Children’s Museum present “All Things Nutcracker,” featuring specially planned children’s programming in celebration of NBT’s all-new production of The Nutcracker that debuted last year at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts (Photo credit: Virginia Trudeau). 

Beginning December 7, museum visitors will witness exhibits that feature Nutcracker-inspired themes and content, such as The Nutcracker –Fun through Dance and Movement, The Nutcracker – Fun with Characters and Set Design and A Celebration of The Nutcracker Ballet, creating an added holiday experience for children and families. Mini-performances and meet and greets with the characters can be seen throughout the month and some days will end with a special “conga line” led by the Nutcracker himself.

Discovery Children’s Museum attendees as well as members of the museum will receive special offers and promotions to NBT’s The Nutcracker, December 14 – 22 at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts.
