The stunning beauty of Tchaikovsky’s “Serenade with Strings” is the inspiration for Serenade, Balanchine’s first and most enduring American ballet. Thrill to his masterpiece, Concerto Barocco, (Bach) where dance and music soar to new heights with a masterful interplay of mood and melody. The perfect finale is Balanchine’s tribute to Broadway and his friend George Gershwin in the witty and romantic Who Cares?
