New Late-Night Tours Scheduled at the Neon Museum Las Vegas

New Late-Night Tours Scheduled at the Neon Museum Las Vegas
A surge in attendance has given the Neon Museum the impetus to expand its popular after-dark tour schedule beginning July 1. Offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and commencing at 10:20 p.m., these one-hour tours will take place every 20 minutes until 11:40 p.m.

The Museum recently set a new yearly attendance record of more than 120,000 guests, a 21 percent annual increase in visitors. In an effort to provide guests more options the Museum announced both the late-night tours, and for the first time, self-guided afternoon access to the iconic Boneyard. Traditionally closed during hot summer afternoons, the Museum will now remain open for self-guided visits of the event area between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. for a suggested donation to Museum programming. Museum interpreters will be stationed around the event space during access to engage with visitors.

“We conducted a trial of both the late-night and self-guided Boneyard tours, and visitors reacted enthusiastically to both options,” explained Rob McCoy, president and chief executive officer, Neon Museum. “In fact, all our trial late-night tours sold out completely and, so far, many walk-up day-time guests have opted for the self-guided visits.”

The cost for general admission is $28, with prices for Nevada residents, seniors, military, veterans and students set at $24.
