One Drop Hosts Seventh Annual Walk for Water Oct. 13 at Las Vegas Springs Preserve
This fall, usher in the new season with One Drop as it hosts the seventh annual Walk for Water on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve. The educational walk pays tribute to the millions of women and children who walk to get water daily. 

Participants can carry buckets filled with water during their walk to simulate the challenging and at times, dangerous job, these people face. For more information, please visit Active.com.

Event Schedule

  • 7:30 a.m. – Registration beings
  • 8:30 a.m. – Mayor Goodman welcomes participants
  • 9 – 9:45 a.m. – Two-mile inspirational walk
  • 10 a.m. – Programming at Springs Preserve begins
  • 11:30 a.m. – Event concludes
