The new breakout star of Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black,” Ruby Rose, brought down the house last night with a live performance from the DJ booth at Temple Nightclub, located in the heart of the SoMa District in San Francisco (Pictured: Ruby Rose in Mirus Gallery – Photo credit: Kim White / WireImage).
A raucous crowd lined the streets for hours for the chance to see the star in action. Throughout her set, several fans enthusiastically removed their shirts for the chance to catch Rose’s attention, who also received several pairs of panties thrown into the DJ booth.

Arriving shortly after midnight, Rose began the evening with a meet and greet with two lucky fans, posing for photos and signing autographs. Sticking to her androgynous style, Rose sported a simple look with a black t-shirt and athletic shoes, complementing her colorful tattoos. Before the highly anticipated set, the crowd chanted her name until she appeared.

Rose, who describes her musical influences to be Felix da Housecat, Erick Morillo and DJ Snake, got the crowd energized with a variety of bass thumping mixes – ranging from Jefferson Airplane’s “Do You Want Somebody To Love” to Zedd’s “We’re Beautiful Now” to Galantis’ “Peanut Butter Jelly” and many more.

The beauty ended her set by jumping on top of the DJ booth and gracing the crowd with her dance moves, followed by her taking out her cell phone to take a selfie with the crowd.
