“Out of the Darkness Community Walk” to Raise Awareness for Suicide Prevention
On April 7, people from around the valley will gather for the Out of the Darkness Community Walk, supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The walk, hosted at Craig Ranch Regional Park, will raise funds to provide education, advance research and increase advocacy efforts in the fight against suicide.
AFSP also supports survivors of suicide loss and those who struggle with mental illness. The event is expected to have more than 1,000 participants.
