The weather outside may be hot but the events in Pahrump are even hotter! Come enjoy hometown fun at Pahrump’s annual Liberty Festival featuring one of Southern Nevada’s longest-running fireworks displays or come launch your own at the Fireworks Over Pahrump launch site.

Liberty Festival: Celebrate the birth of our Nation and enjoy hometown fun at the annual Pahrump Liberty Festival. Enjoy food, arts and crafts vendors, games, free admission to the community pool, music and entertainment. At the end of the night, watch the sky light up with one of Southern Nevada’s longest display of fireworks.

Fireworks Over Pahrump: The Fourth of July is fast approaching and what could be more fun than setting off your own fireworks. Launch your own fireworks in a safe and supervised environment or enjoy the show at the Pahrump Fireworks Launch Site. All visitors who are interested in launching their own fireworks must obtain a special permit from one of the five local fireworks stores.

Date(s): July 1 – July 4
Time: 8 pm – 11 pm
Details: The site is first come first serve with a 30-minute time limit. Permits to launch fireworks are $5 per person and can be purchased at Area 51, Phantom Fireworks, Red Apple Fireworks, Black Jack Fireworks and Extreme Pyro.

Pahrump Nugget Summer Celebration: Head to the Pahrump Nugget for a Summer Celebration featuring a bouncy house, DJ, an eating contest, $1 bowling and shoes, drink specials and a spectacular Fourth of July fireworks show.

Date: Sunday, July 3
Time: 6 pm – Midnight
Details: Fireworks show starts at 9 pm. Specials and activities are available til midnight.

Movies in the Park When the weather is warm, and the family is looking for something to do on a Saturday night, Movies in the Park is the way to go. Bring the family some snacks, a blanket and some lawn chairs and enjoy an evening watching a family-friendly movie every Saturday in the month of July.

Sanders Winery Summer Concert Series: Enjoy an evening under the stars filled with fun and wine at Sanders Winery during their Summer Under the Stars Concert Series. For the month of July, Sanders Winery presents Deja Vu for one night only representing music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s on July 9. Return to the winery on July 23 and enjoy the sounds of Rod Stewart with “An Evening of Rod Stewart” starring John Anthony.

Time: Gates open at 6 p.m. and show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Pahrump Valley Speedway: Race season is in full effect at the Pahrump Valley Speedway. One of the only clay-based, high-banked, quarter-mile dirt tracks remaining in the U.S., Pahrump Valley Speedway promises action and thrills galore. Bring the family for a day of racing and cheer on different classes of cars including Modifieds, Super Stocks, Dwarf Cars, Coupes, Bombers, Mod Minis, and more.

Time: 7 p.m.
Details: Tickets can be purchased at the speedway. General adult tickets cost $10 and children between 6 – 14 years of age arre $6. Children age 5 and under are FREE. Family six packs are available for $30 (two adults and four kids under 14)
