Photo Gallery: The San Gennaro Feast Offers Italian Food and Entertainment through Sept. 16 at Silverton Casino

The 33rd Annual San Gennaro Feast is an exciting once-a-year event currently taking place through Sept. 16, 2012 in the north parking lot at the Silverton Casino Hotel (Photo credit: Bryan Eggers / www.VegasNews.com).

The festival, which celebrates the spirit of San Gennaro, features more than 70 restaurant food booths that prepare fresh and delicious Italian food, 80 amusements rides and midway games, arts and crafts booths, and entertainers from the Las Vegas strip coordinated and hosted by Tony Sacca, who has been part of the event for more than 25 years. This is the best Italian Heritage Celebration this side of Naples!

The festival times are:

• Thursday (Sept. 13) 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.
• Friday (Sept. 14) 4 p.m. – midnight,
• Saturday (Sept. 15) 11 a.m. – midnight
• Sunday (Sept. 16) 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
