As the first independent endoscopy center to open in Clark County since 2008, Las Vegas Endoscopy now offers the most advanced, flexible GI endoscope to increase the find rate of adenomas during colonoscopies.

Dr. Noel Fajardo and Dr. Filippo Cremonini are the first Gastroenterologists in Southern Nevada to offer the Endochoice Fuse. The Fuse uses three small cameras at the tip of a flexible GI endoscope; this provides a 330-degree panoramic view, as opposed to the 170-degree field of image capture from a traditional endoscope. According to Dr. Fajardo, this gastroscope has been shown to be 69 percent more effective at detecting adenomas and polyps (benign tumors in epithelial tissue) than a traditional endoscope.

On Oct. 1, 2008, The Nevada State Health Division enacted permanent regulations for ambulatory surgery centers to tackle issues with disinfection and sterilization that led to a Hepatitis C outbreak and ensuing scare amongst Southern Nevadans. As the first independent endoscopy center to open under new Nevada Public Health regulations, Las Vegas Endoscopy will strictly adhere to regulatory compliance and safety measures for Southern Nevada patients.

“My vision is that Las Vegas Endoscopy will provide services that are not available anywhere else. And especially because we are at the forefront of medical technology, we also want our patients to feel safe receiving an endoscopy or colonoscopy. We guarantee that our scopes are sterilized properly and providers properly dispose of single-use equipment,” says Dr. Noel Fajardo. “We are proud to ensure that we are in complete compliance with every regulation, allowing us to provide the most advanced procedures and highest quality standard of care.”

Las Vegas Endoscopy is now accepting appointments for patients with most PPO insurances, and Medicare.
