Due to popular demand, Place on 7th, downtown Las Vegas’ premier event venue space and downtown line-dancing headquarters, announces additional ‘Downtown Country Throwdown’ events to its month-long lineup of parties.
Place on 7th’s “Downtown Country Throwdown” Series Expands to Weekly Affair Starting August 9
Beginning Friday, August 9, Place on 7th’s signature bi-weekly event ‘Downtown Country Throwdown’ will go from two Fridays a month to four with featured drink specials, DJs, lessons and more. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and starting at 8:00 p.m., two-step into the night with courtyard line-dancing lessons. When the clock strikes 9:00 p.m., dancers can show off their newfound, boot-scootin’ skills on the dance floor with music by various DJs.

Guests can wet their whistle with $4 Lone Star, Shiner Bock and PBR, or get “whiskey’d” away with $6 Jack Daniels and Crown Royal cocktails.
Since school is (almost) back in session, throughout the month of August, Place on 7th wants to help teachers ease into the new school year with a complimentary well cocktail or draft beer with a valid CCSD ID. As always, first responders and military will also receive a complimentary drink every Friday with appropriate ID.
