(DLVEC) will welcome chart-topping pop singer and songwriter Charli XCX on Friday, October 21 to headline the official Las Vegas PRIDE after-party concert.

The special one-night-only event will commemorate the 18th Annual PRIDE Night Parade and create an unforgettable evening full of unity and celebration. The PRIDE Night Parade will begin at the 4th Street parade route from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. with the concert immediately following at the adjacent DLVEC.

“Las Vegas PRIDE is so excited to team up with the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center to celebrate PRIDE Night Parade with an official concert,” said Ernie Yuen, Executive Director of Southern Nevada Association of PRIDE, Inc. “We host over 30 local events during our 10-day celebration but this will be an awesome addition and venue for participants, located just one block west of the parade’s main stage.”

Charli XCX emerged on the music scene in 2008, performing at energetic raves around London. Influenced by an array of diverse artists such as the Spice Girls and Quentin Tarantino, the British performer continued to build her fan base with her debut mix tapes Heartbreaks and Earthquakes and Super Ultr in 2012.

In 2013, Charli XCX achieved international success after collaborating on the popular singles “I Love It” with Icona Pop and “Fancy” with Iggy Azalea, earning her a #1 song on the Billboard 100 charts. She is recently known for her catchy pop records from the album Sucker, featuring “Break the Rules,” “Famous” and certified platinum “Boom Clap,” which became her biggest solo hit to date. This year, XCX will continue to create a distinguished sound with the launch of her boutique music label Vroom Vroom.

Local tickets will go on sale Friday, August 12 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.Ticketmaster.com and dlvec.com and start at $20 plus applicable fees. The concert is open to all ages.
