Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada Receives $10,000 Grant from The Assurant Foundation
On Jan. 8, Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada received a generous $10,000 grant from The Assurant Foundation, the charitable arm of Assurant, Inc. Assurant President and CEO, Alan Colberg joined Executive Director Bob Cleveland at the Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada office for a special presentation.
RTSNV was among three nonprofit organizations who each received $10,000 as part of the company’s “Connected Now” charitable grants given to organizations that encourage innovation, connectivity and support for the housing and mobility needs of consumers.
Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada is a nonprofit organization that provides free home rehabilitation services and accessibility modifications for low-income seniors, veterans and active military, people with disabilities and at-risk families with children.
The two other organizations receiving this special grant included FIRST Nevada and The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.
Assurant is a global leader in protection products, insurance services and customer/technical support for major consumer purchases like smartphones, consumer electronics, homes, vehicles and appliances.
