Recycled Percussion to Visit Shade Tree Shelter August 1

Recycled Percussion to Visit Shade Tree Shelter August 1
Recycled Percussion
, headliners at The Quad Resort and Casino, take time to help those less fortunate whenever they can by visiting the local homeless community and offering food and water to those in need.

As a part of this ongoing commitment to aid their neighbors, Recycled Percussion is making a donation to The Shade Tree Shelter in Las Vegas. The Shade Tree offers shelter and assistance to homeless and abused women, children and their pets.

Recycled Percussion’s leader, Justin Spencer, shared why they chose this charity. “We chose this shelter because of what it offers to the homeless. It’s a sanctuary for women, children and pets. They have art, music and other educational opportunities for the children so they really aid people in getting back on their feet. They have buildings just for the animals, playgrounds and medical facilities. It is truly a place that our community needs for the homeless.”

The members of Recycled Percussion are Justin Spencer, Ryan Vezina, Matt Bowman and Jason Davies.

WHEN: Thursday, August 1 at 11 a.m.

Recycled Percussion, “junk rockers” who make music with anything from power tools to trash cans, first made headlines as finalists in “America’s Got Talent” with their high-speed drumming and innovative sound. After successful shows at MGM Grand and Tropicana Las Vegas, audiences can now enjoy Recycled Percussion at The Quad Resort and Casino. Guests are given a drumstick and unique instrument to play along throughout the show as they are immersed in a gravity-defying comedic explosion of rock. For tickets, please call The Quad Box Office at 855-234-7469 or 702-777-2782.

The mission of The Shade Tree is to provide safe shelter to homeless and abused women and children in crisis and to offer life-changing services promoting stability, dignity and self-reliance.  Regardless of a client’s length of stay or program involvement, there is no charge for the services or the assistance she receives at The Shade Tree.
