Run, Walk or Skip for the Children’s Heart Foundation at the 3rd Annual “Show Your Heart Run” on October 7
Whether a runner or a walker, all Las Vegans can show off their stride for a great cause at the 3rd Annual ‘Show Your Heart Run’ to benefit the Children’s Heart Foundation on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at Kellogg Zaher Park (7901 W. Washington Ave. Las Vegas).
Participants can enjoy their choice of a 5K race or a 1.7 mile fun walk. Festivities begin at 7:30 a.m. with a warm up and announcements, the 5K run begins promptly at 8 a.m., with the 1.7 mile fun walk beginning immediately following the race start. 5K runner fees are $35 per person now through Aug. 31 or $45 per person beginning Sept. 1 through the event, walkers are $10 per person. All runners receive a custom medal, bib, and D-tag for timing. Packet pick-up is available on Friday, Oct. 6 from 3 – 6 p.m. at Red Rock Running Company at 7350 W. Cheyenne Ave., Suite 106. Packet pick up will also be available the day of the event from 7 – 8 a.m.

Children’s Heart Foundation is committed to making a difference in the lives of heart families, through emotional, educational and financial support to inspire a higher quality of life for all. Children’s Heart Foundation has four main goals: to lend support to families as they deal with the emotional and financial toll exacted by a child’s heart problems; to provide a medically supervised, cost-free camp experience for children with heart conditions; to educate healthcare professionals and the general public on pediatric cardiology issues; and to support research in the area of pediatric cardiology.
